IFR 62 - Lyon-Est Federative Research InstituteThe Lyon-Est Federative Research Institute, IFR 62, combines 13 research groups working on molecular mechanisms involved in diseases development such as cancer, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, and viral infection.
Core facilities are set up for human, animal and cellular investigations (fonctionnal genomics and proteomics, mass spectrometry, 13C nuclear magnetic resonnance, animal room for transgenic mouse, data base for clinical trials).
All the research teams are involved in training for PhD and MD students.
